Description
It all comes down to the Allies against what's left of Germany. The Allies (U.K & U.S) have surrounded Germany all over based on their attack plans and their invasion in Italy. The Allies plan was to first take down Italy, in which later Mussolini was shot because he was disguised as a German soldier. Then came the D-Day Invasion which took place on May 1994. On D-Day, the Allies go to France to drive the Germans out of there, in which they succeeded in liberating France and weakening Germany.
Once the Allied forces moved towards Germany, the Soviet army also advanced towards Germany from the East. Germany, or the Füher decided to counterattack from the west because they thought that they would stop the US and U.K by breaking their supply line. Then on December 16, the German tanks attacked the U.S weak defenses, which then commenced the Battle of the Bulge. The Allies and the Germans fought back and forth, in which the Allies won while the Nazi's decided to retreat due to small amount of men that they had. There, the war started to end.
Three million Allied soldiers approached Berlin while six million Soviets troops are forty miles away from the capital. When Hitler heard about this, he decided to hide in a bunker underground in order to protect himself. However, he knew that Germany lost after hearing the Allied soldiers, which was then he wrote his last testament, proclaiming that the Jews were the cause of all this, and then he shot himself. Once the Allied soldiers discovered Hitler's death, they reported to President Harry Truman. There Germany surrender on May 8, which was celebrated as V-E Day, Victory in Europe Day.
After V-E Day, people celebrated on the Allied forces side. However, Japan was still fighting with the US. That's where the President decided to drop two A-Bombs on Hiroshima, which they tested in the Manhattan Project, where countless amount of people where kill. About 100,000 people died from those two bombs and some from radiation. Due to this, Japan had surrendered making the war officially end.
